Location: New Orleans
Cycle Construction is hiring an Entry-Level Project Coordinator (Field Engineer) to support heavy civil and marine construction projects throughout South Louisiana. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career candidates looking to build a long-term career in construction management, field operations, project support, and estimating.
Project Coordinators support both office and field operations, working alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators from pre‑construction through project closeout.

- Supporting projects involving earthwork, concrete, utilities, piling, and marine/coastal restoration
- Assisting with daily field coordination, jobsite logistics, and project documentation
- Collecting and submitting daily job tracking documents (tickets, time sheets, invoices, etc.)
- Helping ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with project plans and specifications
- Supporting estimating tasks including quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, and subcontractor outreach
- Assisting Project Managers and Superintendents with scheduling, reporting, and project coordination
- Participating in project meetings, field inspections, and progress tracking
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related program (or equivalent experience/training)
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Basic understanding of construction means and methods
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Word
- Ability to work outdoors and in active jobsite conditions
- Must pass applicable drug test, physical, and pre‑employment screening
- Valid driver’s license
- TWIC card (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to travel locally as needed
