Role SummaryAs a Site Surveyor at XYZ Reality you will establish and maintain both primary and secondary control on‑site using a Robotic Total Station to enable the use of the Atom. Part of your daily tasks will be to wear the Atom and eliminate construction and design errors on‑site.
Key Responsibilities- Using a Robotic Total Station to establish primary and secondary control via traversing and resection.
- Conducting daily site inspections with the Atom (Augmented Reality headset) to ensure works are installed correctly as per the BIM model.
- Communicating with clients and reporting findings.
- Producing daily inspection reports.
- Attending meetings to coordinate with contractors and plan daily activities.
- Processing and reviewing all acquired data to ensure it is accurate and reliable.
- Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, maintaining a smooth workflow and ensuring inspections are completed within the specified time frame.
- Working with contractors to devise a weekly look‑ahead of inspections aligned with the master construction programme, de‑risking incorrect installation.
- Obtaining and preparing the latest approved Revit models for export into Holo Site.
- Experience in construction surveying or engineering surveying.
- Strong experience using Robotic Total Stations for construction layout and control.
- Experience on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of 3D software (Revit, Navisworks, etc.) or BIM/BIM
360 is desirable but not essential. - Confidence in using Microsoft Office.
