Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking experienced Civil Carpenters for industrial construction projects. We are looking for dependable, safety-driven professionals with strong experience in concrete formwork who thrive in industrial environments, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and are willing to support multiple crafts as needed to meet project goals.
- Construct, assemble, install, and dismantle concrete forms for foundations, slabs, walls, columns, and other structural components.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, or other materials to build precise concrete formwork.
- Set and align forms to proper grade and elevation, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity.
- Place and secure reinforcing materials and assist with concrete pours as needed.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications related to concrete form construction.
- Follow established safety procedures, jobsite requirements, and work standards.
- Assist other craft professionals as needed to support project schedules and deadlines.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
- Maintain strict compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and company requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Civil Carpenter with a strong emphasis on concrete formwork in industrial construction.
- Proven experience building and setting concrete forms for structural applications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout specifications for formwork.
- Safety Alliance Basic Plus certification required for site-specific access.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
- 2+ years of civil construction experience preferred.
- 3+ years of carpentry experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented industrial construction environment.
- Dependable work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to perform physically demanding carpentry and concrete formwork tasks in an industrial environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials such as lumber, form panels, and tools.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all jobsite safety requirements.
