Construction Manager – LNG Projects

These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

K  is looking for a Construction Manager with LNG project expertise to lead and oversee the safe, efficient, and successful execution of large‑scale LNG construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing multidisciplinary construction teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all phases of LNG facility development, including liquefaction plants, regasification terminals, gas processing facilities, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all field construction activities for LNG projects from mobilization through commissioning and handover.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and construction personnel to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor construction schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate construction risks while driving timely resolution of field issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews, site inspections, and safety audits.
  • Implement and promote a strong safety culture aligned with company and industry standards.
  • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and forecasts to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support commissioning, startup, and project closeout activities.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline OR equivalent construction experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years of construction management experience, including significant LNG project experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large EPC, EPCM, or owner‑led LNG projects.
  • Strong knowledge of LNG facility construction, cryogenic systems, piping, structural steel, mechanical equipment, and commissioning requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large field teams and multiple contractors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of OSHA requirements and industry safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management and construction reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with greenfield LNG export terminals, import terminals, or liquefaction facilities.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
  • Experience working in multinational and fast‑paced project environments.
