Junior Project Estimator

All Star Premier Homes is looking for a Junior Estimator to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for calculating costs associated with various custom home projects. You will work closely with customers and project teams to prepare detailed cost estimates that guide the planning and execution of custom home projects. Key responsibilities include reviewing project plans, analyzing requirements, and using advance software tools to create accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.

• Review and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Conducting site visits to gather data and assess project personnel.
• Collaborating with owners and project personnel.
• Analyzing project requirements to identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitoring project costs and adjusting estimates as necessary.
• Providing cost advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participating in project meetings to offer insights and recommendations on cost-related matters.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years proven experience in estimating.
• Experience with estimating software.
• Ability to read and interpret house blueprints and specifications.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
