Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial performance, and successful completion of complex industrial projects. This position provides leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from preconstruction and project planning through execution, closeout, and turnover. The Senior Project Manager serves as a primary point of contact between Taurus Industrial Group (TIG), clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. The role is accountable for maintaining project safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer expectations while identifying risks and ensuring projects meet established operational and financial objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible project management or construction experience in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, or multiple concurrent industrial projects.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, schedules, change orders, subcontractors, and project documentation.
• Strong understanding of industrial construction methods, field operations, and project controls.
• Experience working within petrochemical, refining, chemical, power generation, manufacturing, or similar industrial facilities preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable project management, scheduling, and cost-control systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements when driving is an essential function of the position.
• Ability to travel to project and customer locations as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of industrial construction and project management principles.
• Ability to manage projects from planning through final completion and closeout.
• Strong financial and commercial understanding, including budgets, cost forecasting, margins, productivity, and change management.
• Ability to develop, interpret, and manage project schedules and milestones.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct project managers, superintendents, supervisors, subcontractors, and project support personnel.
• Ability to identify project risks and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Strong contract administration and change-order management skills.
• Effective negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, operations personnel, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects or work streams simultaneously.

Essential Functions

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for assigned industrial projects from planning through completion.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, staffing requirements, and performance objectives.
• Ensure projects are executed safely and in accordance with TIG policies, customer requirements, applicable regulations, and established HSE expectations.
• Monitor project costs, labor productivity, committed costs, revenue, margin, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
• Review project financial results and identify trends, risks, and corrective actions necessary to maintain project objectives.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and coordination between field and support functions.
