Job description Carroll Broadcasting Company is seeking an experienced, dependable, personality-driven radio professional to join our small-market team.

This is a full-time on-air position with additional opportunities to be involved in local promotions, live broadcasts, social media, community events, production, and station support. The exact air shift and daily responsibilities will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, strengths, and the needs of the station.

We are looking for someone who can connect with listeners, sound natural and engaging on the air, and genuinely likes to have fun with the job. The right candidate should be organized, reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working as part of a small, family-owned station where everyone contributes, supports one another, and takes pride in serving the local community.

• Previous radio on-air experience is required.
• Strong, relatable on-air delivery and the ability to develop a connection with a local audience.
• A positive attitude and an ability to bring energy, creativity, and fun to the air shift.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
• Experience with music scheduling, production, commercial copy, social media, remote broadcasts, promotions, or station events is a plus.
• Familiarity with audio editing and broadcast automation systems is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and ability to participate in station remotes, appearances, and community events may be required.

Because this is a hands-on position in a small-market operation, the successful candidate should be ready to contribute from day one. We are seeking an experienced broadcaster who understands local radio, can manage an air shift independently, meets deadlines, and takes ownership of both on-air and off-air responsibilities.
