Lapeyre Stair is seeking a highly technical Customer Service Representative to support our commercial operations.

Lapeyre Stair constructs precision-built industrial access solutions using a state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing system. The Lapeyre Stair product line includes the Original Lapeyre Alternating Tread Stair, Steel Egress stairs, as well as work and equipment platforms, roof access systems, crossover systems, exit and intermediate platforms, and safety gates. Responsibilities
  • Service customer requests for quotes and orders received through multiple channels of communication
  • Assist customers with accurate transactions and industry specific product information
  • Provide technical assistance for Lapeyre stair products and services
  • Utilize telephone sales and support skills to create interest and offer value-added products and services to customers
  • Build and expand customer relationships and help ensure replacement and increased business.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to Co-manage accounts in coordination with multiple team resources
Requirements
  • College degree or comparable working experience in customer service, sales or as a technical representative.
  • 3+ years of sales or customer service experience
  • Strong mathematical and technical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, along with a pleasant & professional phone manner
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks using strong organizational skills
  • Self-managed and a team player
Desired qualifications
  • Experience working in a Customer Relationship Management system (Hub Spot preferred)
