The Role

This is a high-impact, hybrid role combining sales support, customer operations, and office administration. You will be the front line of customer interaction, responsible for turning inbound demand into revenue, managing orders from quote to delivery, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role is built for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and can balance multiple priorities while driving results.

This position plays a critical role in driving revenue and keeping operations running smoothly. By owning order execution, customer communication, and follow-through, you directly impact customer satisfaction and enable the sales team to focus on growth.

  • Own in-bound customer communication by answering all calls and requests with urgency and professionalism, ensuring full coverage and strong customer experience.
  • Execute fast, accurate order processing from start to finish, including order entry, updates, tracking coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Generate and deliver quotes for abrasive products and related solutions, clearly communicating pricing, availability, and lead times to customers.
  • Serve as the central coordination point between customers, sales, logistics, and operations to ensure smooth execution and communication across all orders.
  • Coordinate order fulfillment by identifying product availability, selecting the most effective delivery path, and arranging transportation through internal teams and logistics partners.
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up on all quotes, orders, and customer requests within a 24-hour window, using a structured cadence to drive closure and prevent lost opportunities.
  • Proactively follow up with customers after deliveries, rentals, and major orders to ensure satisfaction, identify additional needs, and create follow-on opportunities.
  • Actively identify and capture sales opportunities by upselling, recommending solutions, and closing smaller-cycle business during inbound and follow-up interactions.
  • Provide consultative support by understanding customer project needs and recommending the right products and solutions.
  • Support, at both local and national level(s), internal sales teams by maintaining accurate opportunity records, reinforcing promotions, and ensuring visibility into active deals and customer activity.
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within CRM systems to ensure visibility into projects, pipeline activity, and ongoing customer engagement.
  • Process will-call orders and support walk-in customers to ensure a smooth and professional on-site experience.
  • Coordinate vendor and customer onboarding by gathering and routing required documentation to internal finance teams for setup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked office environment to support daily operations and customer-facing readiness.
  • Step into operational gaps across the branch as needed (including basic warehouse or coordination support), demonstrating flexibility and a team-first mindset in a small, fast-moving facility.
  • Other tasks and duties based upon business needs.

Work Schedule
  • M-F hours between 7am-5pm
Required Skills/Qualifications
