As a Leasing Consultant, you’re the friendly face and trusted guide for every potential resident, walking them through the exciting journey of finding their perfect home. From the first hello to pick‑up of keys, you’ll greet, tour, answer questions, and make move‑in day a breeze.
Responsibilities- Greet and assist future residents in finding the right apartment home.
- Show off beautiful, move‑in‑ready apartments with enthusiasm and charm.
- Build trust and rapport with current residents to create a welcoming community.
- Work closely with the team to hit leasing goals while keeping customer service top‑notch.
- Help current residents renew their leases because they can’t imagine living elsewhere.
- Competitive pay plus commissions – earn anywhere from $25 to $100 per lease, paid monthly.
- Full‑time flexibility – work on busiest days, including Fridays, Saturdays, and occasional Sunday/holiday.
- Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan (auto‑enrollment after 60 days).
- Earn vacation time (40 hours in the first year) and sick leave per state requirements.
- Paid holidays and potential extra pay if scheduled to work.
- Outgoing, positive, and full of personality; make everyone feel welcome.
- Natural at building relationships and earning trust.
- Customer‑service savvy with an eye for sales.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑focused role.
- High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
- Previous property management or leasing sales experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to write and speak clearly.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time‑management, and goal‑oriented.
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds, move around a property, stand or sit for extended periods.
- Work on the heaviest traffic days, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays as needed.
- Travel: none.
Leasing Consultants will work in a general office environment and on the property; they must lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds, stand or sit for extended periods, walk, and climb stairs in various weather and climates.
