New Orleans Smiles is looking for an experienced Full‑Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is dependable, motivated, patient‑focused, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

This position is ideal for a dental assistant who enjoys both clinical care and teamwork, takes initiative, communicates well, and is looking for a long‑term opportunity to grow within a supportive office culture.

• Chairside assisting during dental procedures
• Assisting with orthodontic procedures and patient flow
• Taking dental X‑rays and clinical photos
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments and operatories
• Maintaining operatory flow and cleanliness
• Supporting patient care, comfort, and education
• Assisting providers with clinical procedures and daily workflow
• Accurate charting and clinical documentation
• Collaborating closely with dental, ortho, hygiene, and admin teams

• 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
• Proficient in both dental and orthodontic assisting
• EDDA certification required
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• X‑ray certification preferred
• Available to work Saturdays
• Strong clinical knowledge, organization, and patient communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

$17–20/hour

Pay will be based on experience, certifications, clinical knowledge, and overall qualifications.
