K-12 Architect

Position Description

INVISION is seeking an experienced K‑12 Architect to focus on leadership of clients and design team from conceptual design to completion, shaping inspiring and meaningful learning environments.

• Excel in verbal and digital communication
  
  Mentor, provide direction and leadership to individual design team members
• Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy
• Provide design and sustainability guidance to Owner and internal team
• Be a key participant in leading our K‑12 market

• 5+ years of experience in an architecture design firm
• 3+ years of experience in K‑12 specific experience
• Architectural License is required
• Demonstrate passion for design thinking
• Commitment to a community-driven process including unique engagement with stakeholders, teachers, students, and community members, and design for diversity, equity and inclusion
• Outstanding graphic presentation and verbal presentation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate expertise exploring and integrating sustainable design strategies
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management and mentoring skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of 3D modeling and documentation tools including Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Suite
• General knowledge of the total project process including team management, schedule, and budget
