Job Title: Senior CAD Drafter

Location: Keosauqua, IA

This position will be responsible for managing multiple projects including creating drawings for our sales department, manipulating existing 3D models into new configurations, and working with other departments to provide drawings for custom data sheets.

• Work with CAD Supervisor and sales (internal and external) personnel to complete drawing requests
• Create drawings for sales department using Auto CAD software systems
• Manipulate existing Auto CAD 3D models into new configurations
• Work with other departments to provide end views for customer data sheets
• Multitasking and prioritizing multiple projects at any given time

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in design, drafting or other relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and other technical drawings
• Demonstrated knowledge of case construction
• Demonstrated computer skills beyond basic level:
  Microsoft Office, 3D AutoCAD, and PDF creator

• Ability to efficiently schedule one’s own time and activities to establish a course of action for handling multiple jobs and priorities
• Advanced software experience
• Team oriented and customer focus– values the synergy of a team and operates as a team player
• Effectively collaborates, engages others in discussion and is hands‑on in problem solving
• A fast learner able to quickly come up to speed on business processes to manage and serve the needs of the organization
