Junior CAD Designer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CAD Designer to join our team. In this role, you will support the design and engineering teams by creating, updating, and maintaining accurate AutoCAD drawings for a variety of projects. As a Junior CAD Designer, you will work closely with senior designers, engineers, and project managers to translate concepts, sketches, and specifications into precise technical drawings. Key responsibilities include preparing AutoCAD drawings, revising designs based on feedback, organizing drawing files, and assisting with documentation and project deliverables. • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to create and edit 2D drawings (basic 3D experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of drafting standards, symbols, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high‑quality work.
• Basic knowledge of engineering or design principles relevant to the role or industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Internship, coursework, or prior experience using AutoCAD in a professional or academic setting.
• Familiarity with additional CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works, Revit).
