Overview
Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon with a strong interest in an academic career to join our practice in New Orleans, La. The ideal candidate would be interested in a general academic pediatric orthopaedic practice with the ability to build a subspecialty practice (non-spine). The practice is made up of 5 dedicated pediatric orthopaedic surgeons from 2 institutions as well as excellent APP and NP support.
Teaching opportunities include working with residents from 4 different residency programs and collaborative research within Tulane and our colleague institutions in New Orleans.
- Clinical practice responsibilities are primarily based at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans LCMC Health, with some outreach activities.
- Teaching duties include participation in department-wide activities, with a special emphasis on participation in conferences and activities focused on your sub-specialty.
