Location:

Audubon Elementary.

Hourly Rate: $26.77/hour ) wage. (SC11 Salary Schedule). Position is eligible for membership in Service International Employees Union No. 925.

Assists teaching staff by completing instructional tasks and maintaining an orderly classroom to provide a positive learning environment. May be assigned to classroom, lunchroom, library, before or after school academic programs, or office. At elementary level, assignment includes crossing guard and playground duties. May be assigned to an individual student or work with entire classroom.

Shift can be flexible:
Either 2.5 hours/ 2 days per week or 5 hours/ 1 day per week.

• Must be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must hold an associate degree (AA) or higher OR have completed two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours OR have passed an Educational Testing Service Para Pro Assessment documenting a score of 455 or higher OR have passed the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher.

If the start date for this position is February 1 or later, this position will be School Year Only. The contract will end at the conclusion of the current school year. Depending on  staffing needs, hires may be offered an additional role after continuing staff have been placed for the  school year.
