Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Paraprofessional positions are available in multiple school locations within the district, with a primary assignment at Napoleonville Elementary in Louisiana. These full-time contract roles are scheduled from March 2, 2026, through May 22, 2026, requiring 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to students, assisting with classroom activities and individualized educational needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement instructional plans.
• Support learning and behavioral objectives for students requiring additional assistance.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Para LA license or successful completion of the Para assessment.
• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow classroom management plans.

Locations:
Various schools throughout the district, with confirmed placement at Napoleonville Elementary in Napoleonville, LA.

Additional Details:

• Three paraprofessional positions are available.
• Candidate must be available for the full contract period.
• Positions are full-time, 35 hours per week.
