Adjunct Construction Instructor, Shenandoah, IA

Job Overview

This position is responsible for teaching construction classes face‑to‑face. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures.

• Teach classroom lecture courses.
• Develop and restructure curriculum.
• Assist in student success.

• 6000 hours of construction work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in construction and at least 3000 hours of recent, relevant, tested construction experience.
• Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver’s license and a good driving record.

• The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone, and basic office equipment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• Ability to drive company‑owned or personal vehicle.
