Positions are available for certified Special Education Teachers, with opportunities in both K/1 and middle school moderate-level classrooms, primarily working with students on the autism spectrum. The contract runs from August 6, 2026, through May 19, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

• Valid Louisiana SPED certification, or a Louisiana teaching certificate with willingness to pursue special education certification
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with autism is preferred
• Ability to deliver individualized instruction based on IEPs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Create and implement lesson plans tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Develop and assess IEP goals, monitoring progress for each student
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, support staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
