Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
- Experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students in a special education setting
- Proficient in early intervention strategies and adapting instruction for diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, families, and fellow educators
- Strong organizational abilities and a solution-oriented approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver engaging lessons and interventions that foster growth in academic, social, and behavioral domains
- Collaborate with other educators, service providers, and families to support student progress
- Monitor, assess, and document student growth; adjust plans as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain thorough records
- Offer compassionate guidance and encouragement to students and families throughout the intervention process
