Job Duties:
- Assists with enhancing student (offender) learning and achievement, providing consultation and professional development activities to faculty to enhance educational effectiveness.
- Work for:
Education Principal. - The incumbent of this position will be responsible for providing instructional guidance and curriculum development for all offenders enrolled in ALC's HI-SET program, monitoring all students' attendance and compiling data.
- The incumbent will also administer academic tests on a scheduled basis, determine if and when the student has successfully passed all pre-requisites for taking the final HI-SET exam, and then schedule the student for the next available HI-SET testing class.
- This position is also responsible for monitoring all students' work on a daily basis and recommending placement from one level to another.
- Maintain a structured, secure, and respectful classroom environment in accordance with facility rules and procedures.
- Assess student progress, track performance, and adjust strategies to support academic growth and achievement.
Compensation:
Salary will be determined by the Allen Parish School Board pay plan for a 2080-hour work year, which will be based upon experience, certification, and education level.
