Adjunct Instructor, Mathematics

Adjunct Mathematics Instructor for face-to-face and/or online instruction during Fall Semester 2026 and Spring Semester 2027. Primary locations in Des Moines Metro area; positions at additional DMACC locations may be available.

• Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
• Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.
• Fosters a safe and civil learning environment.
• Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
• Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

• Master of Math or any master’s with 12 graduate semester credits in Math.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.

• At least 6 graduate semester credits in Statistics.
• Teaching experience.

Face to face and/or online instruction. Fall Semester 2026/Spring Semester 2027. Days and times yet to be determined.

• Complete DMACC Employment Application in English.
