Duties and Responsibilities:
50% Teaching assigned course(s).
50% preparing course materials, hold 30 minutes office hours per course, prepare & grade examinations, input grades in college systems, maintain and submit class records, and complete all required/mandated employee training/professional development as applicable.
Required
Education:
Master’s Degree in Speech Communications required. Master’s Degree in related field--theatre, public relations, or mass communications with a minimum of 18 credit hours in graduate-level speech classes.
Required Experience: Experience teaching in a higher education setting required. High level of written and oral communications skills required; experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Preferred Education: Master’s in Communication Studies
Preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching in Communication Studies or related field in a higher education setting.
