st. John school board is seeking highly qualified paraprofessionals to assist our teachers in the classroom.

responsibilities: assist teachers in classroom instruction and support classroom activities.

• possess a secondary school diploma or ged certificate
• and
• pass the para-pro assessment with a score of 450 or higher. (register for test .org ) you must already have passing scores when you apply for the position;
• or
• two (2) years of full time study (48 semester credit hours) from a state-approved institution of higher education to include english composition (3 hours), english/reading (6 hours), and mathematics (6 hours);
• or
• an associate of arts or associate of applied science degree from a state-approved institution of higher education.
• high school diplomas

• an early childhood ancillary certificate (for prek placement only)
• test scores, ancillary certificate (prek only) or college transcripts must be uploaded in the application or your application will not be considered for employment.
