Early Childhood Paraprofessional

St. John School Board is seeking highly qualified paraprofessionals to assist our teachers in the classroom. Applicants must complete this online application and include references with email addresses. Additional documents to be uploaded into the application include a resume, and a copy the following:

Possess a secondary school diploma or GED certificate AND

Pass the Para-Pro Assessment with a score of 450 or higher. (register for test .org) You must already have passing scores when you apply for the position; OR

Two (2) years of full time study (48 semester credit hours) from a state-approved institution of higher education to include English Composition (3 hours), English/Reading (6 hours), and Mathematics (6 hours); OR

An Associates of Arts or Associate of Applied Science degree from a state-approved institution of higher education.

High school diplomas OR

An Early Childhood Ancillary Certificate (for PreK placement only)

Test scores, ancillary certificate (PreK only) OR college transcripts must be uploaded in the application or your application will not be considered for employment.
