Pre-ETS Instructor (Part-Time)

Excite All Stars — a New Orleans nonprofit celebrating 19 years of youth development — is looking for a Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Instructor to empower students on the autism spectrum as they prepare for their futures.

• Deliver engaging, interactive lessons tailored to each student’s needs
• Use creative teaching strategies and provide accommodations
• Prepare lessons that build critical thinking and real-world readiness
• Collaborate with school staff and teammates
• Keep attendance, materials, and reports on track

• Bachelor’s degree (transcripts required)
• 12+ months of professional experience supporting individuals with disabilities
• Background in education, social work, or a related field (1 year documented, paid)
• Reliable transportation, a laptop/tablet, smartphone, and internet
• Strong organization and communication skills

• Part-time, ~10–15 hrs/week
• Monday–Friday, daytime hours — no nights or weekends
• Follows the school calendar
• Up to $25/hour (based on experience) + monthly mileage stipend
