Tulane University School of Law invites applications for the Assistant Director, Student Services position that is responsible for providing advising and counseling and financial oversight and guidance to student organizations; assisting student organizations with event planning; planning and implementing student wellness-related programming; and working with the Assistant Dean on matters relating to student activities.
Responsibilities- Ability to develop, plan, assess, and successfully implement student programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to students, staff, and faculty
- Strong problem-solving skills
- General understanding of administrative and academic issues in higher education
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work-related matters
- Required
Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS)
- 4 years of student organization or student wellness support, or other relevant higher education experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) Preferred
- 3 years of higher education student program development, work with student organizations, or other substantive student affairs experience in higher education
