ECOLE BILINGUE DE LA NOUVELLE-ORLÉANS, founded in 1998, provides a private, friendly and language-enriched environment for every student. We are Louisiana’s first and only private French school accredited by the French government and the State of Louisiana providing multilingual education for 18-month-old students through the 8th grade. Since the formation of our elementary school, it has been the mission of Ecole Bilingue to provide a strong and distinctive bilingual education for children in New Orleans by combining the best of French and American academics.
Our Commitment to Multilingualism
At École Bilingue, we believe that learning multiple languages is far more than acquiring communication skills, it is developing curiosity, empathy, cultural understanding, and the ability to see the world through different perspectives. Our students already grow in a unique bilingual French-English environment. A strong Spanish program further enriches this experience, preparing students to become confident multilingual learners and engaged global citizens.
Spanish is an essential part of our vision of multilingual education. Through language learning, students discover the diverse cultures, histories, and traditions of the Spanish-speaking world while strengthening the cognitive flexibility and intercultural competence that define an École Bilingue education. The Spanish teacher plays a vital role in fostering this multicultural environment and inspiring students to embrace linguistic diversity with confidence and enthusiasm.
