SCC is currently accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach courses in our Career and Technical Education Division.
Adjunct credit faculty positions are compensated at a rate of $700 per credit hour or $40 per contact hour.
Adjunct instructors at southeastern community college provide educational services as assigned, in accordance with general college guidelines, board policies, and administrative guidelines.
Adjunct instructors in Career and Technical programs must meet one of following qualifications:
Applicants must possess the appropriate registration, certification, or licenses for the occupational area in which the instructor is teaching.
Preferred:Flexibility to instruct classes during day and/or evening hours (or online) and for campuses in West Burlington and Keokuk. Online courses may also be available.
Adjunct teaching contracts are subject to cancellation due to low student enrollment or adjustments to teaching assignments due to full time faculty load requirements.
