KeyQualifications:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification with a current SPED endorsement (no TA or TAT credentials accepted)
- Prior experience teaching in special education settings is highly valued
- Ability to complete all background checks, drug screening, and district fingerprinting ahead of employment
- Positive references and professional demeanor
- Immediate availability for the outlined credentialing process
- Delivering tailored instruction and specialized support based on individual student needs
- Developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Supporting students social, emotional, and academic growth
- Maintaining accurate records and tracking student progress
