• Active LA DOE teaching license required
• Experience teaching high school English strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to connect with adolescents and adapt material to a variety of learning needs
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Passion for promoting a positive, inclusive classroom culture

• Deliver comprehensive English instruction to high school students in a general education setting
• Design and adapt lessons to align with curriculum standards and student needs
• Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages participation and respect
• Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with families and staff
• Collaborate with fellow educators and support teams to provide holistic support for students
