The successful candidate will have substantial opportunity to develop the scientific vision for the next phase of BHS, lead new externally funded investigations, expand interdisciplinary collaborations, and mentor the next generation of investigators. Potential research areas include cardiovascular and cardiometabolic disease, aging and cognitive health, life-course epidemiology, and other areas that can capitalize on the unique BHS resources.

Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in epidemiology or a related field and have a strong record of scholarly research. Evidence of independent research, collaboration, and mentorship is important. Experience managing cohort data collection, cross-institution collaborations, and complex data structures is highly valued. Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level
, with tenure status as appropriate.
