Assistant Professor, Educational Administration

The School of Education at Louisiana State University-New Orleans (formerly The University of New Orleans) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Educational Administration with a background in Higher Education Administration or K12 Educational Administration. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of K12 or post-secondary teaching, a preference for collaborative work, a strong commitment to urban institutions, and an established or emerging research agenda in an area of Educational Administration.

Responsibilities include teaching Masters and Doctoral-level courses in Educational Administration, service to the department/college, community, and the profession, and scholarly productivity in an area of educational administration/leadership, educational change, educational policy, or urban education. Other responsibilities include supervision of doctoral student research, student recruitment and advising, pursuit of extra-mural research funding, community outreach, and other supports to the administrative functions of the unit.
