We are currently looking for an Assoc. Field Tech/Field Tech/Sr. Field Tech for our Dubach, LA office.

To carry out daily operation and maintenance tasks associated with the Sharon pipeline system in the Sharon Area. This position will be responsible for environmental, health & safety for natural gas transmission through the pipeline system. Specific duties will consist of, but are not limited to, valve inspection and maintenance, tank gauging, pipeline locating, pipeline patrolling, and one call duties for the pipeline.

The position will also include construction duties, preventive pipeline maintenance, meter station, corrosion control, and right of way maintenance. Responsibilities include recognition and reporting of abnormal and safety‑related operating conditions, accident and near‑miss reporting, emergency response, and regulatory compliance with DOT, industry standards, manufacturer, and company guidelines. The role will be on a call‑out rotation related to pipeline and compressor station activities.

Qualified candidates must live within 30 miles of Sharon Station to respond to call outs. A successful candidate will complete Core Blocks in Safety, Environmental and Company policies and procedures.

• Physical requirements:
  
  standing/walking; climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolds; bending/stooping/squatting; carrying and lifting items 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet

• Strong computer skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to manage filing system
• History of safe work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Current driver’s license with clean record.

• Experience working with natural gas pipelines and compressor facilities and familiarity with DOT 192 Regulations
• College or technical school degree
• Mechanical and/or Electrical degree
• Mechanical and/or Electrical industry related training
