Controls Engineer – Software Development

Requirements Must have:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 0-1+ years of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of programming principles
• Strong enthusiasm for automation and programming
• Familiarity with Rockwell Studio 5000 is a plus, or a willingness to learn
• Ability to travel 30% – 50% of the time

• Assist in the commissioning of equipment under supervision
• Aid in testing and troubleshooting control programs
• Contribute to the development of code for PC-based control systems
• Support programming efforts alongside senior engineers
• Help create HMI interfaces for user interaction
• Maintain documentation for software and version control
• Collaborate with team members and contractors during installations
