Overview
Entry Level Bridge Design Engineer – Railroad Bridge (52897)
New Orleans, LA 70163
Responsibilities- Perform structural design and detailing of railroad bridge components under guidance from Project Managers and Senior Structural Engineers.
- Execute tasks on multiple concurrent projects and assist with field and construction service assignments as needed.
- Conduct bridge analysis, design, and detailing based on the AREMA Manual.
- Utilize CADD, Microsoft Office, and structural analysis software.
- Apply problem‑solving skills to resolve design and detailing issues.
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution.
- EI certification required.
- Railroad bridge experience or strong interest preferred (not required).
