Overview
The successful candidate will perform detailed rigging and structural engineering analysis and design under the direction of a senior Professional Engineer, participating in all project phases from proposal development to final product delivery.
The candidate will use a combination of linear structural analysis software packages and hand calculations to design custom rigging solutions that are fabricated, assembled, and load tested at our facility prior to mobilization. Project involvement will include client interaction, load generation, component selection and layout, cost evaluation, and drawing development. This role offers the opportunity to develop and strengthen practical design skills in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment.

- Ability to create and analyze structural/rigging models using computer software
- Ability to perform hand calculations for welded and bolted connections
- Ability to write technical reports for clients
- Knowledge of the AISC Steel Manual
- Ability to work with a project team of supervisors and peers
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn
- 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering
- A desire to obtain a Professional Engineer license
- Ability to travel to offshore oil platforms or onshore facilities and ports for site surveys
