Overview

Aramco is seeking a Static Equipment (Mechanical) Engineer to join our Yanbu Refinery Engineering Division in Saudi Arabia. The refinery has a capacity of 250 MBD and supplies refined products such as gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel to the western region of Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

Perform field troubleshooting and support plant operations concerning stationary mechanical equipment integrity, including major T&Is and emergency shutdowns. Support maintenance in repair procedures and review material specifications and quotations. Provide engineering support for contractor repair procedures.

Participate in facility audits, insurance reviews, HAZOP studies, compliance assessments, and other evaluations.

Support project reviews including drawings, calculations, scope of work, and vendor quotations.

Perform mechanical calculations such as wall thickness, MAWP, hydrotest pressure, and others as per applicable codes (ASME, API, TEMA).

Conduct assessments for plant reliability and integrity, including boiler and heat exchanger evaluations.

Develop in-house design packages for projects, including scope, procedures, and drawings.

Review and revalidate existing drawings and conduct investigations into plant failures or trips.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in the Refinery, NGLF, or Petrochemical industry, specifically in asset integrity of stationary equipment, with at least 8 years in field troubleshooting and major turnaround support.
Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and software tools.
