Scheduler — Nuclear Projects (Primavera P6) Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support nuclear project work at an active site in Palo, Iowa. This is a 1-year contract role offering daily per diem, ideal for a scheduler with Primavera P6 experience who thrives in a regulated, safety-focused environment. While nuclear project experience is preferred, candidates with strong scheduling backgrounds in other complex or highly regulated industries will be considered.

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and outage activities into a cohesive master schedule
• Perform schedule logic reviews, critical path analysis, and progress updates
• Identify schedule risks, impacts, and recovery strategies
• Support planning meetings and coordination sessions with project and field teams
• Prepare schedule reports and presentations for project stakeholders
• Ensure scheduling practices align with nuclear quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Track milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle

• Proven experience as a Project Scheduler using Primavera P6
• Experience supporting large, complex projects (nuclear, power generation, utilities, heavy industrial, oil & gas, or similarly regulated environments)
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles
• Ability to work onsite in Palo, Iowa for the duration of the assignment
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with multidisciplinary teams

• Prior nuclear project or outage experience
• Familiarity with earned value, progress measurement, and schedule risk analysis
• Experience working under strict safety and quality programs
• Knowledge of engineering, construction, or maintenance scheduling in power or industrial settings

• Long-term, stable 12-month contract
• Daily per diem

This is a Contract position based out of Palo, IA.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 – $55.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Palo, IA.
