This is a full-time role, for a Technical Sales Engineer at Garratt-Callahan Company, in the New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette Lake Charles territory. The role involves developing and managing client relationships to provide customized water treatment solutions. Daily tasks include performing site evaluations, delivering technical sales presentations, troubleshooting technical issues, and offering support to align solutions with client needs. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and technical professionals to ensure customer satisfaction and to drive sales growth.
Qualifications- Proven experience in Technical Sales and Sales Engineering
- Strong skills in Sales and the ability to develop new client relationships
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams
- Proficiency in Technical Support to troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges
- Ability to work collaboratively, independently, and meet customer needs
- Previous experience in the water treatment industry is a plus but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field preferred
- Willingness to travel locally to client sites as needed
