Position: Systems Engineer (Reliab, Maintain & Sys Health)
Location: New Orleans

Company and Location

The Boeing Company is actively seeking a Mid-Level Reliability, Maintainability, & System Health (RM&SH) Engineer for the Space Launch System (SLS) program in either Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF), Louisiana
, or Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida
.

As a member of RM&SH, you will support the design, manufacture, test, and/or sustainment of state-of-the-art technology. Position

Responsibilities
  • Perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risk of system failure and support proposed changes in design using National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) methodology.
  • Review supplier submittals from a RM&SH perspective.
  • Mentor early career engineers and analysts.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Export Control Compliance

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements. Therefore, a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

NASA Facility Access

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. Ability to obtain NASA badge/access.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • Experienced, Level 3:
    Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • Lead, Level 4:
    Typically, 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • Some SLS program experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to obtain NASA badge/access.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.

Summary pay range, Lead level 4: $136,850 - $185,150.
