Smart Group Global is seeking an experienced Telecom Site Engineer to support mobile network rollout projects across the Central Africa region. This role is essential for ensuring successful installation, integration, and maintenance of microwave (MW) and wireless link (WL) infrastructure. You will play a key part in the execution of high‑quality telecom installations that meet operator standards and project timelines.

As a Telecom Site Engineer, you will oversee field installation activities for MW and WL systems, ensuring all work complies with technical specifications and safety procedures. You will coordinate with implementation teams, contractors, and project managers to prepare sites, install hardware, and validate installation quality. Candidates with Huawei project experience will be particularly valued, as many deployments follow Huawei standards. Your responsibilities will include technical reporting, on‑site troubleshooting, and ensuring successful handover of sites after integration and testing.

• Coordinate and execute MW and WL installation activities on telecom sites.
• Ensure installation quality aligns with operator and vendor standards (Huawei preferred).
• Conduct site surveys, material checks, and site readiness validation.
• Oversee tower, antenna, and radio installation as per project requirements.
• Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting of MW/WL links.
• Prepare installation reports, acceptance documents, and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and on‑site work practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, riggers, and project teams to meet timelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven hands‑on experience in MW and WL installation.
• Experience working on Huawei telecom projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of telecom site implementation and installation standards.
• Ability to work in field environments across Central Africa.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

• Knowledge of RAN or transmission basics.
• Experience conducting site surveys and preparing technical BoQs.
• Familiarity with telecom safety standards and rigging processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot MW/WL equipment on‑site.
• Experience collaborating with multi‑national project teams.
