Job Description
As a Sr. Reliability Engineer at Solstice Advanced Materials
, you will lead initiatives to enhance the reliability, availability, and maintainability of chemical plant equipment. This includes developing and implementing strategies for maintenance, analyzing equipment failures, and driving continuous improvement through data‑driven insights and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. You will report directly to our Sr R&O Maintenance Analyst Supervisor and work out of our Geismar, LA location on a 9/80 work schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 6 plus years of experience in reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with fixed and rotating equipment.
- Knowledge of NDE techniques and ASME/API codes.
- Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) facilities.
- Must have a TWIC card or be able to obtain one shortly after hire.
- Familiarity or certification in national standards such as API 510, 570, 580, 653.
- Professional Reliability Certification – CRE, SMRP.
- Excellent project management skills to oversee complex reliability engineering initiatives.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development, staying at the forefront of industry advancements.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and cross‑functional environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.

CompensationThe annual base salary range for this position is $121k–$153k
.
