The Aerospace Mechanical Technician will support the various projects located in New Orleans, LA
. This position is focused primarily on aerospace and defense technician assignments.

• Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment components, devices or systems.
• Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment.
• Conduct test and report data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks.
• Make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• This position requires a Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one; must be a US citizen.
• Must have a bachelor's degree

• Must have 2+ years of recent hands‑on technical work experience

• In lieu of degree: Candidates with 6+ years of recent and related experience will be considered.
• This position requires demonstrated knowledge of mechanical technology.

• This position is located onsite; some travel may be required.
• Schedules are subject to change based on the requirements of the position and/or customer needs.

• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS

• Must be organized with good time management skills and must be able to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
• Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time) and may require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
• Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.

$42,500/yr, salary will depend on education and experience.
