QES is seeking a motivated Designer to support our engineering and landscape architecture teams through the development of accurate, well‑coordinated design drawings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented professional to grow their technical skills while contributing to impactful infrastructure and development projects.

As a Designer at QES, you'll collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to bring ideas to life through precise and innovative design work. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and modifying technical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Translating field data, design sketches, and markups into clear, accurate plans
• Revising drawings based on project feedback and evolving design requirements
• Ensuring designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards
• Assisting with permit submittals, specifications, and supporting documentation
• Maintaining organized project files and up‑to‑date design records

• Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, Design Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
• 1–3 years of design or drafting experience (entry‑level candidates with strong technical skills encouraged to apply)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD;
  Civil 3D experience is a plus
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, notes, and field data
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
