s to lead complex hyperscale and enterprise data center projects across the United States.

Candidates will oversee all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, commissioning, and turnover activities from preconstruction through final client handoff.

Position OverviewThe MEP Manager will serve as the primary leader for all MEP systems on large-scale mission critical projects, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, safety, commissioning readiness, and successful owner turnover. This role requires strong collaboration with project executives, superintendents, design teams, trade partners, commissioning agents, and owners while managing highly technical building systems in active construction environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all MEP and commissioning activities on mission critical/data center projects.
- Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and life safety scopes.
- Coordinate design reviews, constructability analyses, and value engineering efforts
- Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, installation, testing, and startup activities
- Drive quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications and owner standards
- Lead commissioning planning, integrated systems testing, and turnover processes
- Monitor schedules, identify risks, and develop recovery strategies when necessary
- Collaborate with field operations teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery
- Participate in client meetings and maintain strong owner relationships
- Support project budgeting, forecasting, and change management efforts.
- 7+ years of experience managing MEP systems on large commercial, industrial, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, or mission critical projects.
- Direct data center experience strongly preferred
- Experience with hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, or cloud-provider facilities is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of commissioning, startup, and integrated systems testing
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, UPS, generators, switch gear, chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, and controls
- Experience coordinating large MEP subcontractor teams
- Ability to travel nationally for project assignments
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of BIM/VDC coordination process
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM 360, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced mission critical environments with demanding schedules
