Location: New Orleans
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering, design, and construction-related projects.
- Serve as lead engineer and/or project manager for roadway, drainage, water, sewer, site, and flood protection projects.
- Coordinate with survey, geotechnical, and other subconsultants.
- Mentor EIs and junior staff while helping build and strengthen our engineering team.
- Assist with project pursuits, client relationships, and overall practice growth.
- Help improve project delivery processes, technical standards, and quality control.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Louisiana Professional Engineer license, or ability to obtain quickly.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in civil engineering design and/or project management.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering design, permitting, and construction practices.
- Experience with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS.
- Prior experience leading projects or mentoring staff.
- Previous engineering management experience is a major plus, but not required.
