Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead the design and delivery of large‑scale municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong project management capabilities, and multidisciplinary coordination with municipal clients and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and sign off on engineering designs from basic to complex, including site layout, grading, hydraulics, water distribution, storage, foundations, stormwater infrastructure, and treatment facilities.
- Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ensure firm policies are followed.
- Conduct site reviews and studies to align designs with location specifications, updating requirements as necessary.
- Contribute to the firm’s Technical Knowledge Management by creating white papers and technical design documentation; submit technical papers for publication.
- Collaborate with sales staff to prepare proposals and review them for adherence to regulations and best practices.
- Meet with current and prospective clients to assess design needs and represent the firm at conferences and symposia.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff, mentor growth, and supervise junior engineer work when appropriate.
- Perform other duties as required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Professional engineering (PE) license.
- 10 years of related experience.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required (frequency contingent on duties).
- Expert knowledge of computer‑assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software.
- Expert knowledge of engineering design principles.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
