Job DescriptionThe service:
The Saône et Loire Territory manages 106 water and sanitation contracts with communities and industries for a turnover of 20 M€. It serves 61,000 subscribers in drinking water and its main contracts are with the Creusot-Montceau Urban Community and Autun. Based mainly in Montceau les Mines, it has about a hundred employees who manage among other things 9 drinking water installations and 46 pollution control plants.
Within the Saône et Loire Territory, you will join the Usines Sud unit composed of 14 employees and based at the Sorme plant in Blanzy. You will mainly work on the instrumentation and water quality analyzers of the Sorme dam (buoys) and its tributaries (alert stations).
The missions:
- Conduct an experience report on the sensors installed on the Sorme dam and plant (quality of data, transmission flow, maintenance…)
- Draft maintenance standards for the different sensors
- Determine alert thresholds for the different sensors
- Based on available data, conduct a study to pilot the aeration device of the Sorme lake (servo-control, technical modification, operating mode…)
- Develop a similar or adapted instrumentation offer for other water bodies in the area (drinking water reserve, swimming, industrial…) for proposal to potential clients.
The goal of the training is to make you autonomous and capable of managing complete projects.
QualificationsThe profile we are looking for:
- You are in the second year of a BUT in Physical Measurements,
- You are passionate about environmental issues and particularly about water resource management,
- You are motivated, dynamic, like to take initiatives and have a sense of accountability,
- You are proficient in computer tools,
- You have a driver's license.
