Structural Design Engineer

You will be responsible for carrying out, from the internal/external specification book, functional specifications and the documentary repository (standards and procedures, tools), the design of structural and means assemblies responding to the specified requirements, within the framework of development projects or follow-up of series projects; formalize them by the definition dossier (plans, CAD models, mass…). Carry out any or all of the following activities:

- Identify, implement, critique and validate the input data (specification book, pre-studies, interfaces...) - Participate in plateau development phases with the client
- Carry out functional analyses
- Carry out structural ensemble studies (primary structures, secondary structures, metallic or composite) or defense systems studies (constructive principles, choice of materials and associated protections) (insulation, piping…) - Carry out the integration of equipment (routing, piping, placement of fixed parts) - Carry out pre-sizing calculations
- Develop, write, modify and validate the definition dossiers (CAD models, CAD mock-ups, mass and centering calculation, plan bundle, nomenclature, interfaces and tolerance plan), in respect of the project's technical requirements and specifications, the achievement of Quality / Costs / Deadlines / Technical Performance objectives, and the consideration of applicable interfaces and standards
- Determine and calculate the functional, geometric, dimensional constraints
- Determine the functional rating of parts, sub-assemblies or assemblies
- Participate in the realization of test programs and exploit the results Demonstrate the ability of technical choices to meet the specified constraints (applicable regulations and standards) - Participate in the development, management and validation of non-conformities of series projects
- Participate in the evolution, improvement of methods and tools
- Seek the best adapted technical solution in terms of cost and ease of manufacture
- Provide support to production (non-conformities, derogations, non-conformities on delivered products) and to clients (in-service repairs) - Carry out, on site, missions of analysis, control and advice
- Participate in the pricing of calls for tenders and/or client modifications
